Lee completed her studies at Stanford University in 2019 and became a professional. Her amateur golf career saw her stay for 17 weeks at high in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee received with the 2019 Mark H. McCormack Medal after finishing the season as the top-ranked amateur. Lee played four rounds consecutively and an Albatross while an amateur. Her top-10 finish was two times during her debut season on the LPGA Tour. She was 7th at the AIG Women's Open in 2020 that was played at Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee was able to claim her very first LPGA Tour triumph at the Portland Classic in 2022.
